Master Systems Integrator
MSI
Specialist contractor responsible for integrating all building and IT systems into a single unified management platform.
Full Definition
A Master Systems Integrator (MSI) designs, integrates, and manages the interoperability of all building systems — BMS, DCIM, fire, access, CCTV, UPS, and IT infrastructure — into a unified operational platform. Unlike individual system vendors focused on their own products, an MSI takes end-to-end responsibility for system-to-system communication, data normalisation, and single-pane-of-glass operations. PODTECH operates as an MSI across multiple UK facilities.
