The excitement is building as the inaugural MK STEM Awards approaches its awards night, with judges unveiling the finalists across 11 diverse categories.

The MK STEM Awards, an eagerly awaited event celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths excellence, has revealed its finalists. These selections come after rigorous evaluation by a panel of esteemed STEM professionals and leaders.

This event aims to unite and amplify the efforts of the STEM community in Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas. It serves as a platform to acknowledge, celebrate, and champion the accomplishments of the region’s STEM experts.

The winners, determined by this distinguished panel, will be revealed at a grand gala ceremony set to take place at Unity Place. This new venue, located in the heart of Central Milton Keynes, is the impressive new headquarters of banking titan Santander. The date for this momentous occasion is February 29.

Meena Chander, the founder of Events Together and host for the awards (pictured left), shared her thoughts: “Our judging panel meticulously reviewed each submission. They selected finalists who are playing a pivotal role in forging a more diverse and inclusive future within STEM. The entries left a profound impression on the panel, describing them as exceptional, inspiring, and phenomenal. The judging process, while challenging, has been truly exhilarating.”

For those interested in attending the awards ceremony and gala dinner, tickets can be purchased at Events Together’s STEM Event. Additionally, a limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available, Ms. Chander noted.

Expressing her gratitude, Ms. Chander said, “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the entrants and finalists. I wish everyone the best of luck for the awards ceremony in February. We are reaching out to the local MK STEM community for support. Let’s together continue to inspire and celebrate the next generation of STEM enthusiasts.”
