About the Role:

PODTECH Technology is seeking passionate Development Interns to join our software development team. This internship provides comprehensive exposure to full-stack development, offering hands-on experience with modern technologies and best practices. You’ll work on live projects, contribute to building innovative solutions for global clients, and enhance your technical expertise under the mentorship of experienced developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in the design and development of web applications.
• Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and learn best coding practices.
• Work on both front-end and back-end development tasks.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with the QA team for testing and bug fixes.
• Learn and implement version control using Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (final-year students or recent graduates).
• Strong foundation in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with web frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, Spring, or .NET.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Personal or academic projects showcasing coding skills.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
• Basic understanding of software testing principles.

Technical Stack Exposure (varies by project):

• Frontend: React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3
• Backend: Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django, .NET Core, Node.js
• Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Tools: Git, JIRA, VS Code, IntelliJ IDEA
• Cloud: AWS, Azure, Docker basics
