Accenture Opens Cloud and AI Technology Center in India

Accenture has just opened its newest Advanced Technology Centers in India (ATCI), precisely located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

While currently recruiting for various roles, the new facility is focused on advancement across cloud, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), extended reality/metaverse and other digital platforms.

“We are thrilled to have a stronger presence in Indore. Our market leading people policies, large investments in learning and development, and the boundaryless opportunities we offer across deep technology areas and industry domains, will open up new avenues for local talent and support our people looking for greater location flexibility,” said Mahesh Zurale, senior managing director, lead – Advanced Technology Centers in India, Accenture.

The Indore technology center represents further expansion of the company’s global delivery network and will focus on developing and delivering a wide range of cross-industry technology solutions. The new facility also joins other Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers in India which are located in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, and Delhi.

About six months ago, Accenture also announced it plans to create over 3,000 new roles in different technology fields including cloud engineering, platforms, cybersecurity, data and intelligent operations over the next three years to boost its UK workforce.

Accenture has also just acquired Advocate Networks, LLC, a technology consultancy and managed services provider of Technology Business Management (TBM) solutions. Advocate’s full suite of TBM services, from advisory to TBM-as-a-service (TBMaaS), are expected to complement Accenture’s cloud and digital transformation services as well as its end-to-end capabilities for TBM and FinOps.

Also recently, Accenture and Microsoft, together with their joint venture Avanade, are joining forces to tackle climate change with plans to deliver solutions to enable organizations transform their operations, products, services and value chains towards net zero. On this partnership, Accenture’s AI-powered sustainability services, Avanade’s human-centered digital experience, and Microsoft Cloud are combined to deliver climate change solutions.
