QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
PodTech is seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our growing team in Cyber City, Gurugram The ideal candidate will have recent experience in automation quality assurance, preferably with a strong background in web applications, an understanding of front-end technologies, and experience working closely with development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and execute manual /automation test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality assurance metrics and implement testing standards.
- Review and verify functional and design specifications to ensure understanding of individual deliverables.
- Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution while working closely with developers to facilitate troubleshooting and debugging.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, provide estimates for testing tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Perform regression testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automation quality assurance.
- Good understanding of web technologies: JavaScript, Playwright, BDD, Cucumber, Kendo, Bootstrap.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL including writing and optimizing queries for testing purposes.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
