Lead – Dotnet Core Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer to join our team. The candidate will spend 75% of their time coding and 25 % managing and mentoring a small cross functional team. As a Technical Lead you will be responsible for managing dedicated technical teams to improve and lead the software project delivery and implement structured Agile processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
  • Managing a cross functional team of engineers, ensuring the team meets their targets and support their learning and development through coaching, mentoring and personal development planning
  • Provide guidance on architectural and design decisions around individual changes and control technical debt to keep it at manageable level
  • Ensure that code reviews are conducted properly and adhere to across the team
  • Participate in entire application lifecycle, focusing on design, coding, and debugging
  • Write clean code to develop functional software applications and troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Design unit tests for increased software resilience
  • Manage cutting edge technologies to improve legacy applications and collaborate with developers to integrate user facing elements with server-side logic
  • Liaise with the development, test, support, and consultancy teams to identify new feature
  • Follow emerging technologies and software trends to future proof development activities
  • Provide software support to ensure delivery of the SLA
  • Participate in governance and implementation of company coding principles and software development principles

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. A master’s degree is a must
  • 10 + years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as Lead or in a similar role with a strong emphasis on team management
  • Expertise in Asp.net Core, Object Oriented Design, C#, Database Design, and XML Schema, SQL, MVC, JavaScript, Web API’s
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure or similar cloud platform
  • Excellent understanding of best practices for software release process
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
